本課程設有四個核心學習目標，包括：培養創意及想像力、發展技能與過程、培養評賞藝術的能力，以及認識藝術的情境。這些目標環環相扣、相輔相成，同等重要且同步發展，旨在引導學生將藝術融入生活，培養敏銳的審美眼光，進而懂得享受生活情趣。
1.培養創意及想像力：通過參與藝術創作或表演活動，學生能運用創意與想像力構建意念。
2.發展技能與過程：學生能運用不同材料、元素及資源去體驗和演繹藝術，並在創作過程中重視探索與實驗。
3.培養評賞藝術的能力：學生在詮釋視覺藝術作品時，能作出具批判性、有根據且理性的回應，並將這份評賞能力延伸至對日常生活事物的觀察，從中鍛鍊敏銳的審美眼光。
4.認識藝術的情境：學生能了解藝術在文化層面的定位，及其與人類生活和社會的關係，進而學會用心欣賞日常周遭的人事物，豐富心靈，享受生活之美。
Learning Objectives:
This curriculum has four core learning objectives: developing creativity and imagination, developing skills and processes, cultivating the ability to appreciate and criticise art, and understanding the context of art. These objectives are interconnected and mutually reinforcing, equally important and developed in parallel. They aim to guide students to integrate art into their lives, cultivate a keen aesthetic eye, and thereby learn to enjoy the pleasures of life.
1. Developing creativity and imagination: Through participating in art creation or performance activities, students can use creativity
and imagination to construct ideas.
2. Developing skills and processes: Students can use different materials, elements and resources to experience and interpret art, and
value exploration and experimentation in the creative process.
3. Cultivating the ability to appreciate and criticise art: When interpreting visual arts works, students can make critical, evidence-based
and rational responses, and extend this appreciation ability to the observation of everyday life, thereby honing a keen aesthetic eye.
4. Understanding the context of art: Students can understand the positioning of art at the cultural level and its relationship with human
life and society, and further learn to appreciate the people, things and matters around them with heart, enriching their minds and
enjoying the beauty of life.
課程特色：
課程內容多元化，涵蓋不同的媒介、視覺元素及組織原理，並以三大學習範疇——視覺藝術知識、評賞及創作——為核心，將不同畫派、中西方近代／當代藝術家及本土藝術融入課程之中。同時，透過參觀外界展覽，讓學生認識中西方藝術，從中滲入中華文化元素與價值觀。
Course Features:
The course content is diverse, covering different media, visual elements, and principles of organization. With the three major learning domains—visual arts knowledge, appreciation, and creation—as its core, it integrates different painting schools, modern and contemporary artists from both Chinese and Western traditions, and local art into the curriculum. At the same time, through visits to external exhibitions, students are introduced to Chinese and Western art, incorporating Chinese cultural elements and values into the learning process.
發展重點：
1.發展多元化的視藝課程，例如將AI及STEAM元素融入校本課程之中。
2.透過校園藝術大使培訓、與藝術家共同繪畫等活動，培訓學生參與校外比賽，並讓學生參與 外間機構的藝術活動，以豐
富其藝術學習經歷。
3.推動藝術校園，透過舉辦藝術日及校本視藝活動等，讓學生有更多參與藝術活動的機會。
4.讓學生透過PADLET及進行作品評賞，提升藝術評賞能力。
Development Focus:
Develop a diversified visual arts curriculum, for example, by integrating AI and STEAM elements into the school-based curriculum.
Through activities such as Campus Art Ambassador training and collaborative painting with artists, train students to participate in external competitions and enable them to take part in art activities organised by external organisations, so as to enrich their arts learning experiences.
Promote an art-filled campus by organising Art Day and school-based visual arts activities, giving students more opportunities to participate in arts activities.
Enable students to enhance their art appreciation skills through PADLET and artwork appreciation and criticism.
